It’s always great when brides choose to have someone assist in alleviating the stress leading up to or the day of for their wedding. I full support this! It’s great! It’s super important though to give your vendors a heads up that they will be reaching out, and touch base with them BEFORE schedules and logistics are out together as it takes time and the coordinators are our guide :)
While it’s so nice to have friends and family that want to make the process easier as wedding planning can get very overwhelming, I recommend one point of contact.
When you first reach out to vendors the first exchange when phone, email or text it’s important to establish that rapport with you as they’ll be dealing with you throughout the process.
Its fine to include people in trials, vendors visits, or meetings but the communication should be with one person. This prevents confusion, miscommunication as well or keeping everyone on the same page.
Believe it or not people book hair and makeup vendors anywhere from 6 months 18 months in advance.
I highly recommend seeking hair and makeup vendors early, as people that are talented and popular get booked first.
Especially prime season months, they go first, May thru October.
I personally get asked for multiple dates over and over as they’re prime dates.
Booking vendors in advance ensures you get who you want 😊
Grab a bunch of shout wipes! They are super handy, especially when your dress gets dirty before ceremony taking pictures! They’re a lifesaver.
MY FAVORITE EXFOLIATOR
Been using for years, recommend to many! It's only $32!
I have been using for years, they have two formulas, the regular one is great for normal/dry skin. The skinfood LIGHT is great for normal/oily . It's quick absorbing and hydrating without making you greasy.
