"Essie and her team are exceptionally talented and also make the day for the bride and wedding party so special. I have known Essie since she first did my makeup during our Sweet 16 days. It was a full circle moment for her to do my makeup on my wedding day. Not only is she incredibly warm & makes you feel so special, but everyone's makeup was stunning. She enhances everyone's natural beauty and makes everyone look like themselves. That was super important for me when picking up a makeup artist for my wedding. I wanted my makeup and all my bridesmaids makeup to feel so natural and not cake-y... a beautiful glazed donut, if you will... I have since received so many compliments on everyone's makeup. Truly, everyone looked so beautiful. Also Essie can do this all with minimal direction. She can look at someone's face and know what to do and how to do it. It also helps with a big wedding party that Essie works so efficiently. I never felt stressed about timing or if we would get everything done in time. And on top of all of this, Essie and her team could not have been nicer and more helpful! There are a ton of moving parts during a wedding day and Essie goes above and beyond her scope to make sure things are going smoothly for the bride, mother of the bride, and wedding party. Essie calmed me down when I had a migraine, made sure I had water, helped my mom get dressed... the list goes on. She was an absolute dream to have by our side on that day. Choosing Essie to be my makeup artist for my wedding was one of the best decisions I could have made! I would recommend her to anyone!!!

"Where do I even start with Essie? My wife and I got married in October and I had the pleasure of having Essie with us. She was positive, professional, flexible, and time efficient in every way. Right from our trial I knew I had chosen the right person- she is truly so personable and makes you feel SO comfortable. Having her with us the morning of our wedding truly felt like having another friend with us! Essie does BEAUTIFUL work- natural, but amazing! "Essie knows makeup! She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, honest and kind. I was nervous about makeup, as most brides are, as that is "your look" on one of the most special days of your life. Essie put my mind at ease after I saw the results of my trial. I was so happy with the beautiful natural look she gave me and was so excited to have her on my big day. She arrived early to set-up. Her calm and organized demeanor put me at ease as my bridesmaids and moms had their makeup done. I was blown away with the results! Simply stunning! After I saw my face for the first time when she completed my makeup, I was overjoyed (to say the least)! She did an even better job that morning than on my trial. I didn't think that was possible. I had many emotional moments before first look, and Essie stuck around to provide numerous complimentary touchups. She even provided my MOH with a "touch-up" bag so she could help me fix anything that might have worn off by the time the ceremony or reception came about. We didn't even wind up using the "touch-up kit," as my makeup lasted throughout the afternoon and night. I'm so happy with my decision to have Essie as my makeup artist. "Everything about Essie is wonderful and amazing!!! This goes beyond her amazing talent with makeup to her as a person as well - she is the BEST! Let me start by saying that I am not a makeup girl. I of course wanted to look and feel beautiful for my wedding day, but felt so uncomfortable with the idea of a lot of make up, as did my now-husband. Someone else had suggested airbrushing and I freaked out and contacted Essie. Essie was responsive and sensitive about this before we even got to the trial. When I met her for the trial, I reiterated my anxiety and she immediately put me at ease. She promised she wouldn't cover up my beloved freckles and so I let her "do her thing" :) When she was done, she made me look like the most beautiful version of "me" that I could ever ask for, which was my ultimate goal!"

When my wedding day came, she then not only also made my girls and mom feel just as beautiful, but was also SO MUCH FUN to have in the bridal suite with us! We had music playing and were dancing and having fun and she joined right in, while of course maintaining her beautiful work. My girls ranged from my sister and me, with dark complexion with dark eyes to my bridesmaid who is pale Irish with blue eyes and mom somewhere in the middle and everyone looked and FELT gorgeous! Essie is versatile and talented with her craft and warm, sensitive, and fun as a person. I would and fully plan on recommending her to anyone and everyone!

"Essie was WONDERFUL to work with and I could not be any happier having worked with her for my wedding! She is extremely talented and I absolutely loved her makeup on myself as well as my family and bridal party. We continue to talk about it with each other months later! Even more than that, Essie played an integral role in our getting ready part of the day, and helped keep the mood fun and light. She gave jewelry advice to my bridesmaids and helped them with their dresses, and she helped keep me calm and happy as I had an emotional moment. "Essie did my make up for my wedding on Nov. 10. Let me start by saying all the positive reviews about her on wedding wire are all accurate!!! Essie did such an amazing job on me that all my guests couldn't stop commenting how beautiful i look!! Not only the make up was beautiful, it stayed on me all night even though i was all sweaty from dancing all night!! The individual falsies that she put on me were so natural and light that It feel like i wasn't even wearing them!! Besides her amazing skills, Essie was very professional and punctual. Originally i only book three people with her, but I had to add a couple more at the last minute. (Not to mention my bridal suites was filled with people cuz mommy decided to bring a whole crew with her!) Essie was able to work with the last minute changes under a pretty loud environment and did gorgeous make ups for everyone!! I can't thank Essie enough, let me just simply say I am so happy with her that i can't wait to go to her again for all the holiday parties!! Essie thank you!!! Love love love!!"

"Essie is incredible!!! She has a great, fun energy and is incredibly knowledgeable about makeup and skin prep. She was super flexible, communicative, and accommodating when I had to reschedule my wedding date due to COVID. I don't normally wear a lot of makeup and Essie made me feel so comfortable during the trial and day of, and my makeup lasted all day outside in the heat of August.
